rabbittransit understands the hardship that all fare increases have on our riders and the agencies who fund us. That is why we have worked hard to avoid raising Shared Ride fares for more than ten years.

As funding at all levels is stretched due to rising inflation and other economic factors, agencies such as PennDOT are often required to adjust co-pays to ensure their continued ability to support transportation programs. Due to these and other circumstances outside of our control, rabbittransit is forced to increase fares for Shared Ride service.

Going forward, copay tickets will be accepted at face value toward your fare and the senior one-ride ticket is equivalent to $1.00.
