rabbittransit operates mobility services in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union, and York counties in Pennsylvania. To provide our services, we rely on a broad range of businesses and contractors who work with us through the procurement process. The goods and services we purchase, ranging from office supplies to buses, are crucial to providing safe, reliable and economical transportation for our customers.

rabbittransit is committed to providing a full and open competitive environment for procurement opportunities in conformance with local, state and federal regulations. rabbittransit solicitations are issued as Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitations for Bids (IFB) or Request for Quotations (RFQ), depending on the type of goods or services.

Guidelines and procedures for all procurements are contained in the bid documents at the time of solicitation. rabbittransit encourages small businesses owned by minorities and women to pursue contracts to compete for rabbittransit’s business.

20230517 - York Boardroom Tech Upgrade

rabbittransit The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA) dba rabbittransit seeks to procure a modern teleconferencing system for two adjacent meeting rooms inside 415 North Zarfoss Road, York, PA 17404. The system should support high-definition video, clear audio, and seamless operation, either independently in each room or in a combined configuration. The system must be user-friendly and compatible with existing IT infrastructure, including support for Zoom and Microsoft Teams.

SRTA/rabbittransit serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties.  This procurement is for York County only.

All proposals and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

All costs incurred by Proposers in the development of their proposals in responding to this RFP are the sole responsibility of the Proposers.  No such costs will be reimbursed by SRTA/rabbittransit.  Furthermore, Proposers must not include such costs as part of their cost proposals to perform any work described in this RFP.

The Authorities reserve the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in the RFP process as the Authorities deem in any of their own best interest. 20240507 - Fleet Management Electrical Work

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba rabbittransit is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the services described as follows.  The Authority will receive Bids for building alterations at the rabbittransit Zarfoss facility fueling island located in West Manchester Township, York County.  The project involves running power and communications conduit, placing power and communications wire, relocation of a fuel island control pedestal, and making appropriate connection as designed.

All Bids and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and the SRTA.

20240620 - Statewide Cutaway

Notice is hereby given that the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA) as the lead agency for a statewide consortium in Pennsylvania is requesting proposals for the procurement of Body on Chassis Vans and Transit Vans.

Requests for the solicitation package must be made in writing.

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in the RFP, and must be received in SRTA offices by Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Proposals received after the specified closing time will be considered late proposals and will not be considered for award and not opened.  Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.

All questions and clarifications regarding this RFP should be addressed to SRTA and must be received, in writing, by Friday, January 31, 2025 at 4:00 pm.  All questions and clarifications postmarked after this time will be returned unopened.  SRTA will respond in writing by  Friday, January 14, 2025.

All Proposals and contracts are subject to all applicable state and federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority, the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Buy America, Non-Discrimination, Non-Collusion, Lobbying, Debarment and Contractor Integrity laws and regulations.  Proposers must certify they are not on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors.
