The goods and services we purchase, ranging from office supplies to buses, are crucial to providing safe, reliable and economical transportation for our customers.

20240827 - Fixed Route Scheduling Software
The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba rabbittransit is requesting Proposals for the services described as follows. The Authority will receive proposals related to the necessary replacement of an existing software product which provides fixed route transit bus scheduling. The Proposed product shall provide functionality to handle the following, but is not limited to: routing and timetables, block scheduling, driver scheduling, rostering, and capability to export in format accepted by SRTA’s CAD/AVL system. The ideal product will incorporate the historic Central Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (CPTA) and Capital Area Transit (CAT) collective bargaining agreements (CBA). All run cuts and rosters assembled by the product shall be compliant with the appropriate CBA as well as relevant labor law and Federal testing requirements. Please review the complete Solicitation to determine if your product is suitable. Proposers are invited to submit responses describing scheduling software believed to satisfy rabbittransit’s specialized needs described within this Solicitation. SRTA/rabbittransit serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties. This solicitation and resulting Contract will encompass Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, and York Counties.
All proposals and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
All costs incurred by Proposers in the development of their proposals in responding to this RFP are the sole responsibility of the Proposers. No such costs will be reimbursed by the Agency. Furthermore, Proposers must not include such costs as part of their cost proposals to perform any work described in this RFP.

RTA hereby notifies all proposers that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this RFP advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. The Authority reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in the RFP process as the Authority deems in any of its own best interest. Proposals received after the specified closing time will be considered late proposals and will not be evaluated for award. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.
20240425 – Zarfoss Maintenance Heaters
Notice is hereby given, Susquehanna Regional Transit Authority (rabbittransit) located in York, PA, is soliciting bids for proposed radiant heater replacement work at their operations facility located at 415 Zarfoss Drive, York, PA.
Bid documents, available by contacting rabbittransit’s Project Manager, includes a Project Manual, specifications, and plans.

Contract 20240425 – Zarfoss Maintenance Heaters
The deadline for bid submissions is 2:00pm (EST) on December 04, 2024. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and date. A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID meeting will be held by rabbittransit at the project site on November 22, 2024, at 2:00pm (EST).
rabbittransit encourages the use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in all contracts. Any certified DBE’S proposed by the bidder must be fully utilized with adequate documentation provided by the selected bidder to satisfy federal and PennDOT requirements. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this project.
