The goods and services we purchase, ranging from office supplies to buses, are crucial to providing safe, reliable and economical transportation for our customers.

Statewide Cutaway
Notice is hereby given that the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA) as the lead agency for a statewide consortium in Pennsylvania is requesting proposals for the procurement of Body on Chassis Vans and Transit Vans.
Requests for the solicitation package must be made in writing.

All proposals must be submitted in accordance with requirements set forth in the RFP, and must be received in SRTA offices by Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Proposals received after the specified closing time will be considered late proposals and will not be considered for award and not opened. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.
All questions and clarifications regarding this RFP should be addressed to SRTA and must be received, in writing, by Friday, January 31, 2025 at 4:00 pm. All questions and clarifications postmarked after this time will be returned unopened. SRTA will respond in writing by Friday, January 14, 2025.
All Proposals and contracts are subject to all applicable state and federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority, the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Buy America, Non-Discrimination, Non-Collusion, Lobbying, Debarment and Contractor Integrity laws and regulations. Proposers must certify they are not on the Comptroller General’s list of ineligible contractors.
SRTA hereby notifies all proposers that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this RFP advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award.
SRTA reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive any informality in the RFP process as SRTA deems in its own best interest. The Proposals shall be valid for ninety (90) days from the date of submittal.

Notice is hereby given, Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority | SRTA located in Harrisburg, PA, is soliciting bids for the proposed early demolition work for the future SRTA Operations and Maintenance Facility Project located at 901 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg, PA 17101.

Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority | SRTA encourages the use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in all contracts. Any certified DBE’S proposed by the contractor must be fully utilized with adequate documentation provided by the selected contractor to satisfy federal and PennDOT requirements. A DBE goal of 2.50% has been established for each construction phase contract. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates are required for this project.
SRTA reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The Bidder’s attention is directed to the fact that all applicable Federal and State laws, municipal ordinances and codes, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the Project shall apply to the Contract throughout, and they are deemed to be included in the Contract the same as though herein written in full.
Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority | SRTA will not be liable for any costs incurred in the preparation of the bids or for attendance at the pre-bid conference.
All bids and contracts are subject to a financial assistance contract between SRTA and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Non-Discrimination and Non-
Collusion laws and regulations to certify that they are not on the Comptrollers General’s list of ineligible
contractors or are federally disbarred. Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority | SRTA solicits and encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. A DBE goal of 2.50% has been established for each contract. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The DBE procedures contained in this bid package shall be followed if a prime contractor seeks the services of a PA UCP certified DBE.

This project will require Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates.
The bidder agrees that bids will be valid for at least a ninety (90) day period from the date the bids are opened. Purchase of Diesel Fuel
The South Central Transit Authority (SCTA) as the lead agency on behalf of the County of Lebanon Transit (LT) and the Susquehanna Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) — Harrisburg and York Operations, is requesting qualified firms to submit bids electronically via PennBid to supply Diesel Fuel until 4:00 PM, prevailing time, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, for the following: “Purchase of Diesel Fuel” South Central Transit Authority, Lancaster, PA. At the designated time in this notice, the bids received shall be opened online and publicly read with results posted on PennBid.

Bids for the base bid of a one-year period will be received for the supply and delivery of Biodiesel B-2 blend of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel to meet One Hundred Percent (100%) of the monthly Diesel Fuel requirement.
During the period from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, SCTA expects to order between 292,500 – 307,500 gallons of diesel fuel for its Lancaster Operation and SCTA expects to order between 367,500 – 382,500 gallons of diesel fuel for its Reading Operation.
During the period from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, LT expects to order between 8,000 to 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
During the period from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, SRTA-Harrisburg Operation expects to order between 330,750 to 404,250 gallons of diesel fuel. SRTA-York Operation expects to order between 44,995 – 54,995 gallons of diesel fuel.
