rabbitcares is an initiative focused on expanding transportation options serving seniors, persons with disabilities, veterans, and vulnerable families, as well as the infrastructure that supports them.

Veterans Transportation Fund

They served our country. Help us serve them. rabbittransit and CAT, a service of rabbittransit, provide rides throughout the local community, as well as to VA clinics for local veterans. Without financial assistance for transportation, many veterans would not be able to reach critical medical care or day-to-day necessities such as employment.

Provide a Ride

A ride to dialysis or chemotherapy saves a life. Access to immunizations, preventative care, or a follow-up visit to a primary care provider keeps us well. Transportation barriers serve as the third leading cause of missing a medical appointment, resulting in greater risks of getting sicker and costing more healthcare dollars. rabbittransit provides rides to preventative and life-sustaining appointments for individuals.

Grocery Cart Program

A trip to the grocery store provides nourishment for the body and keeps us well. Having access to food to feed your family allows for a foundation to build excellence in other aspects of life. 2.5 million people in Pennsylvania (or 21.12% of the state’s population) have limited access to food. Having a ride to acquire food prevents hunger amidst existing food deserts in our communities.
