b'EMPLOYEE RETENTION National Transit Employee Appreciation DayIn celebration of National Transit Employee Day, rabbittransit operator Lionel Randolph joined PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Public Transportation Association to emphasize how Governor Shapiros budget proposal would stabilize and improve service, as well as help retain and attract transit employees. They also expressed appreciation for rabbittransits dedicated employees and encouraged riders to thank their drivers for their service and skill.rabbittransits Biannual Operator Training rabbittransit hosted its biannual weekend training with bus operators from Adams, Cumberland, Columbia, Dauphin, Franklin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties participating. Operators came together to learn about safety topics like defensive driving, fire safety and passenger assistance. A presentation by a Transportation Security Administration officer from the Department of Homeland Security provided operators with valuable insights and updates on security measures. This training ensures that rabbittransit operators are well-prepared and equipped with the latest information to enhance passenger safety across service areas.Food Truck Festivities Food truck days in the Capital Region and York County were a fun and innovative effort by rabbittransit to encourage employee retention. Employees received vouchers to enjoy a meal, and had an opportunity to spend time interacting with colleagues.'
